Let me tell you how it works. You type something into the search bar and BAM..... what do you know..... you find all the answers you need and are looking for without wasting your time and ours.

Now that that is out of the way, congrats on the new car and let us know what your impressions of the JB tune on your 2011 are. Lots of people are waiting to hear about it.

Well, the search feature here is kind of bad--
A better way is to go to google and do:
e90post.com: jb3 warranty

And to the OP- Yes it shows up if they look for it so you want to remove it before service.
No it won't usually leave a trace but could if your running higher maps. Buy the BT tool as well.. search for that one also.

Quick answer: Unless the installation caused some obvious physical damage (broken plastic covers, etc.) or the piggyback has caused the DME to throw some codes (including hidden codes that don't show up as a warning light), there is no way to tell.

If you have the bms can tool or bt cable you can clear the codes before you go in to the dealer. A diagnostic scan will not detect the jb3 but if the dealer looks in the engine bay they may see something. If you are cautious and concerned about warranty it's always best to remove the chip.

So far feedback has been phenomenal from customers it really makes the car a blast to drive.

Hey guys, i own a N55, and today i just installed the jb3 stage one, and the Led Agel eyes conversion kit that terry sales.

lets start by the easy part, the angel ayes. the fit was perfect and the quality was very good. i rate this mod a 10/10

the golf tee mod made it today 10/10

the JB3 ecu..

The installation was fairly simple and the fitting was great.

the outcome was very good, i am fairly happy with the outcome, but i thought it was going to be a bit more powering. i know its just a stage one, but It does make the car more responsive and the Gains are There, you feel them. i'm just ready for the fmic and the dp so terry will give the n55 community the stage 2 or 3 we crave......

the rating on this mod it is a 10/10, i thought it was going to be a 12/10 but for the price its worth every penny. .

overall im very happy with the products i bought.
