Do you need that much bass? Id rather have something that fits in the corner over the CD changer / amp space and holds a single 12 or 10.

getting that much bass is too much IMO.

Not a big fan of the losing tunk space mods.

It will be here tomorrow. I'm sure mike could send it to you without the carpet. Maybe even at a cheaper price? I'll post some pics of the whole thing over the weekend.

A w6 needs very little cubic feet to function. Remember, these are sealed boxes not ported. You can do 1, 2, or 3 10" woofers or 1 or 2 12" woofers with these boxes. You could do two 12" w6 if you wanted with this box there is plenty of space for that. I think that would be overkill though. This may sound stupid, but I just think it looks funny with just 1 sub centered in the box. A 12" woofer can usually go a little deeper than a 10", but two 10" woofers have a larger cone surface area than 1 12" woofer and will be louder.

Just ordered the custom box for two 12inchers. I got the box with the amp housing space underneath. Going to get some JL 12wov2s 4awg wiring and line out converter. Having a hard time finding the right 2 channel amp tho that does around 500w to each unit at 4ohms

I'd use this and run the subs in parallel. Looks like they are rated for 300w RMS, that amp is rated at 650. I have one in my car and it's putting more then what it's rated for.
