My exhaust....

Pics and soundclips to come but just want to give a little review first....

Here is the setup:

UR catless DPs
Borla Cat Delete Pipes
Magnaflow Mufflers
Magnaflow Tips

I had the work done at a local shop and I am not too happy with it. The tips aren't lined up the exact same and one muffler is turned slightly compared to the other one.

This might not be noticeable to everyone but I can notice it and it is annoying.

The sound is, well, overbearing. It is much much to loud for my tastes and it drones at certain RPMs. I know, I know, people told me this would happen but oh well.

I am going to give it a week or so and see what I make of it after a while but one thing I know is that the mounting of the mufflers need to be fixed. I am heading back home right now and I will take pics and multiple sound clips as well....

Sorry to hear man, its so hard to find the a good exhaust for our cars. After three tries, I finally got one I liked.

What types of cars does the shop normally deal with?? That could be a serious issue too...........

They deal will all types of cars. I am going to go back and get it taken care of, thanks for your compliments...

damn u should hav gone for a full catback like my cp-e exhaust. its sick, love it and low to no drone at all. everyone that hears my exhaust loves it. the rumble is sick, first time was a charm for me

Nice. The difference is that my total cost for everything installed is less than 700 bucks.....

Well whats the average type of car do they deal with, mustangs, american muscle?? Also what type of compliments do you expect when you go to a shop and they install ur exhaust looking like that?? Come on, would you rather me lie and say it looks good??

They normally deal with domestic cars.

I am going to go back next saturday and have them fix it.

ouch man. I have the riss downpipes only and a stock exhaust otherwise. Sounds just like stock except when puttering around under medium load you hear a little turbo spooling which i love. From in car, you car sounds fine to me

Yeah, that is what I had before this, UR DPs and stock exhaust.

I didn't cut up the stock exhaust so I can go back to it in a matter of a couple of hours but I just wanted to give a full exhaust system a shot.

I am going to get this fixed soon....

Thanks. I am going to see how I like the sound after a week or so. Like I said I spend less than 700 total so I can probably recoup most of that by selling it if I need to....

The alignment on the passenger pipe is an easy fix and you could fix this in your driveway. The muffler sitting low on the drivers side would probably need a little more tweaking.

I might, it just takes so long to upload it.

I am going to try and fix the passenger side exhaust pipe tomorrow in my driveway, the muffler thing will have to wait until next weekend....
