logic 7 amp stuck

Trying to replace my logic 7 amp, the fiber line was a no brainer but the slide-clip for the power, seems to be stuck, HARD. It slides about a qtr inch then gets stuck there. Any ideas on how to loosen this up, or do I just have to get my pliers and pray?

I ended up getting it. Used a t-shirt and some locking pliers and wiggled up and down, facing a new challenge. The corrosion is not allowing the connector to get in there and sit flush. Going to try to disconnect the battery and use some cleaner and a wire brush tomorrow.
