Do you really have red turning lights?
But on the front and sides they are amber, right?

Sorry, I had no idea it could be like that.

Any chance rear blinkers in amber is an option with BimmerCode?
Discussed many times.

US Market does not have amber lights. to change them you need to get the Euro cluster and rewire them to get that to work. You cant code it.

New law came out in EU, this is why the new code for the safety stuff. Even now if you go faster than the speed limit then you have beeping, etc.

I'm looking for a way to set the memory function back for the LDW as I use it only night time on highway. If anyone found the function in Bimmercode that would be great!

I hope to take delivery soon (MY2022).
This is one of the first things I will ask them to check, even before going there.
They had said (01/2022) that the deactivation (LDW) would remain memorized (as on the F40 MY 2021)

If not, I will request a change via ESYS
They already told me that we could put a shortcut key but I'm waiting to see to believe it

Unfortunately it's in every new car registered after first of July 2022, even now the new ones come with the speed limit warnings. It's not a BMW thing, it's mandatory for all new cars registered in EU now This is why I'm also waiting for someone to find the right combination and give us an description how to code it.

My friends new iX was grounded at the showroom for 3 weeks, waiting for the new SW to load (which was still under development and testing), as without the new SW they could not register the car (it was something about the airbags).

Oh shit
I'm even more enraged because it was supposed to be scheduled for June.

Registered or built before 01/07 (production date of mine: 29/06!) ?

The intelligent speed assistant is not (yet) compulsory because it was homologated before 01/07 (in 2021)
Same for the black box

I think it will be mandatory only for models homologated after 01/07/2022, and in 2024 (07/07/2024) for cars produced from this year (homologated or not before 01/07/2022)

This is European Regulation (EU) 2019/2144

In article 7 it is put (for LDW):
d) it is possible for the driver to override such systems.

Sure, you can turn it off, but has to go to menu, and again push and again push. So it's not like turning off the start/stop system with one button. Would be lovely to have the memory on it, so if I turn it off it stays like that (as it was on my previous F40 M135i.

BimmerCode responded and said the 240 is not officially supported but they're working on it. I went ahead and tried it for nothing more than the disabling of the Engine Auto Off. I ended making a lot of other changes and really like it. Wish it had an option for 1-touch open/close for the moonroof, but didn't see it. I really like how much cleaner my gauges look now.

Have you been able to see if it is possible to program it to start in sport mode by default?
I assume you took the g20 as a base?

Yes, I have mine set to start in Sport Individual and I think I selected the G20 M340i if I remember correctly.

Is Comfort+ an actual thing? (Envisioning extra soft suspension for long road trips).

Lol

Lol
Don't know, and has anyone actually tried it
I have to say though after doing a long interstate holiday here I could not be happier with the ride quality, handling and fuel economy which to me equals comfort +

plus 1 on this.

Completed 2200km round trip Canberra to Gold Coast Return via an overnight stay in Sydney on the way to the Gold coast and I left it in adaptive all the way

Averaged 6.7lt/100 both ways only wished I had vented seats but was very happy with the drive.

When I did the return leg Waze told me 10 hours 50 Min non stop.

did it in 11H:30 with fuel and rest stops total.

Thanks a lot for the information, great

Still waiting for delivery (MY 2022 id7)!!!

If the dealer does not want to fix it for me, do you know if it is also possible to code so that the deactivation of the LDW remains in memory? (I'm afraid it will come with the system which puts it back on every boot).
The version I tried (02/2022) kept the memory...

I've read these codes, but they're from 2017 (and I haven't even bimmer yet)

TLC_START_VERSION: default_off = 00

TLC_PIA_DEFAULT_ON_OFF: active (Active) = 02

2 Series coupe (G42) is supported on Android version of Bimmercode

Does OBDLink CX designed for BimmerCode provide a reading for either oil pressure or transmission temperature? Those are two gauges for the iPhone I'd like to have but can't find the options.

I asked Bimmercode and this is the unfortunate answer:

"Hi,
there is no known way to disable this at the moment unfortunately."

It may be necessary to ask those who have g42 from the beginning (which keeps the memory) and bimmercode that they look at the line of code of the active guard plus option (5AQ?) in order to see the line of the LDW (code 01 02 03?)
