Agree, stickers not great! Those latest pics seem without the MP Springs as not as low as previous pics I posted.

does anyone know if these parts are available to be added to the new m240i yet? the car I ordered is in transit and should be here in a few weeks. I would love to have a few of these parts I like added before I take delivery, but my dealer keeps telling me they don't have any info on them.

What is the extra piece over the wheel wells, I dont see it on anything except the M240i with the ZTK package.

Does anyone know why its there or what option causes those pieces to be added?

Im looking at the arc right above the wheels

They're to meet European legislation I believe (that's what I was told at Goodwood show stand.. that's why the M2 CS had rear arch lips applied. The 220d version doesn't have them as the wheel offset is different to the M240i.

Here are my shots of the 220d vs M240i at Goodwood:

The additional arches are included with the 893m wheels to accommodate the wider wheels (8.5/9.5 with 245/255 tires instead of 8/8.5 and 225/255).
The 20" wheels are still 8/8.5 (no extra arches then) so there they probably put the wheels on a car "born" with the 893m.

Do USA cars have the same lip? Looks tacky to me, just my opinion, no offense. Its like a cheap piece of plastic just put on it. Wonder if they can be removed???

Of course it's the same for US cars with 893m wheels, without the lip the rear wheels would extend almost 1" outwards (8.5" et40 vs 9.5" et30), I think that would be really horrible, imagine putting 23mm spacers on the rear...
If you don't like the arch lip avoid the 893m wheels.

Yes, because the US has the same regulations as Europe in this regard. The tires cannot stick out past the fender of the vehicle. The cheap fender extender is to meet this regulation with the wider tires.

So as long as you dont order the ZTK package with the 893m wheels, BMW does not put on the extra piece, does anyone own an M240i with other wheel styles that do not have the exrta piece. Pictures would be very very welcome!!!

Are those added on any other wheel type you can choose with the M240i?

No, just the 893M wheels get the lips.

It's interesting that the regular cars come with an 8.5" rear with a 255 tire, but the ZTK uses a 1" wider 9.5" wheel with the same sized tire.
