Is this optional on the future M2 ?
But that's not a dashboard. And no. The large curved screen will come in all future BMWs for the foreseeable future.

So you prefer two large flat tablets to one large curved one?

A large curved screen in the M2 would definitely be a show stopper if it becomes standard … and I actually don’t care about the other BMW models …

It's not going to become standard...it already is standard from day 1 of the G87

Any chance new idrive layout will be available by LCI? I think it only took 3 years to phase out the idrive 7.

Back of the new G series 2 is quite a different proposition from the F series. I had a 235i and M2 (same size of course) and it was zero compromise for a family of 4.

I'm not so sure this time around.
Are you saying that the G87 would not be suitable for a family of four? Myself and my wife have two young children, 5 & 9 years old and hoping the keep the car for around 8 years.
Yeah no way man, you need an m3
For older kids/teenagers you may have to get M3. My plan is to get a second car for kids. I went from M2 to 3, and now will be going back to 2.
Same, my M4 feels like a boat..

I want that sweet sweet short wheel base with the s58 and 6 on a stick

Hey all, I've just come across these. I also read that the M2 is being unveiled soon. Thoughts?

Looks like it, and at that time everyone thought that this looked pretty damn good. I think the pictures uploaded this AM are just a bad angle, because from that angle, this thing looks pretty decent
