pre lci with lci seats
Hi All,
I've got a 2009 pre lci e93. Everything on the car is pre lci but the seats are LCI. I've picked up today a full coral red leather interior. But they are pre lci. before I fit them just wanted to know if I will have any problems with dash lights etc? thanks in advance |

What do you mean by "pre lci but the seats are LCI"?
E92 and E93 seats were changed to have active headrests from September 2008, and not related to LCI, which was March 2010 on E92 and E93. So do you mean you're trying to fit seats without Active Headrests to a car that expects to have them? |

It's very unlikely the car was coded for active headrests as you can install LCI seats into a pre LCI car with no codes or lights since the car is not looking for active headrests.
Only way to know now is to install them and see what happens as it is possible someone coded it in. Worst case you'll need to pay a coder $50 or so to code it. |

sorry so my 09 has seats with active head rests. which I thought was an LCI option.
the seats I have bought don't have the active head rests. I'm just planning on coding them out if it does pop up any fault codes. it's going to be a few weeks before they are fitted now as didn't like the coral red the more I looked at them so going to dye them Garnet red same as my e46. |
