Credit must be given to Zoouz for his very informative wheel website:
http://zoouz.free.fr/wheels.htm

And also to A3ndy for helping collect the photos. Thanks guys.

I'll update the thread with additional images as I come across them.

I like the 161's the best out of the 4 standard choices in the US (156, 159, 161, and 162)

I saw a 320i with 196 Wheels (the sample picture is already in this thread), I have to admit they looked well cool. If I weren't getting 162s then I would defintiely go for 196.

Yes, I believe all e90's come with run-flat tires. That is why there is no spare tire with the car.

Yeah, I am pretty sure they're summer tires, they come with the 325i sport package.

I am thinking of getting the 158's on the 320d. Here is comes standard with 16" 156's but I want 17" wheels at least. What do you guys think? I think they look pretty cool!

In the UK, both 325i and 330i models come standard with 158 style wheels. I think they suit the E90 very much.

My favorite wheels for the E90 have to be the 179's but i think 19's would be to much and tires would be to expensive to replace... i also like the 199's but same problem with those there 19's as well... i think the best fit would prolly be the 162's... generally how much do BMW's rims go for? and would it be cheaper to go and by rims from somewhere else then BMW?

Yes, has anyone done this or know if there are any modifcations that need to be done for them to fit properly?

My input

161 looks cool, but 162 is tops, e90 is such a big/thick waisted car, the larger wheels reach up onto its waistline a bit more thus I think it looks better proportioned

I order an e90 silver with 162, and sport suspension, beware 18" makes the car look "lifted", due to less tyre walls height, and side walls proping the car higher even when it is parked (measured height at stationary).
