Confirmed with Turner that these will work on our m240i xdrives.
Thank you so much for posting this. Giving me so much hope because mine has been driving me NUTS with this colder weather again (also in Chicago area, Naperville)

Can you confirm 100% that the thump is fully gone?? I will absolutely do this to eliminate the thump and lower the car. That ride height looks perfect! Will probably go with R&M as well

My pleasure. Tell Rei and Mark that Wayne sent you.
Day two in Oak Park and no thumps on the bumpy alley and surface streets. Will provide another update in a couple of weeks. Taking it to BMW of Elmhurst Tuesday for the alignment. I will share my experience with them to see if they can glean anything from it as they spent a week with my car trying to address the thump.

PM me if you want to come to OP and drive the car before deciding on the investment. Just buy me an Italian beef from Johnnie's and we'll call it even!

today i sprayed peppermint oil/water concoction under my hood because i found seed shells on my engine cover the other day! last thing i wanted was vermin loitering around in my car so hopefully the peppermint works. i read it on the internet, so its got to be true, yeah?

to do this week: install bavsound ghost speakers and my side winglets, weather permitting. and maybe an oil change. im just over 3k miles. ive also been debating getting the aa downpipe... like, its the first thing i think about when i wake up lol.

Put on 15mm spacers all around. Fitment is great. Spacers are from CTS Turbo, good price and quality.

Looks great! I’m considering 13mm with my 797M wheels. Did you buy direct from their store (believe they’re local)? Which performance shop do you use?

Thanks. I got them online because shipping was free and I wasn't sure if they even had a store front for local pick up. 13mm spacers would look good too, but they were out of stock when I ordered. Not sure when they will be available again.

I haven't used any local shops yet, I've just been buying stuff online and doing the installs myself. How about you?

Would love these. Never thought about not passing inspection here in the US, decided to hold off and do some research first.

I really like the look!

I’m just starting to think about mods / upgrades. I had a few local VW / Audi shops that I’d use for my previous cars. New to BMW though.

I had to remove my engine cover, they will nest under it, long as it was there I was losing the battle. BMW put great foam/nesting material on the backside of the engine cover, even with the foam removed, the cover still holds heat and provides an enclosed space for the critters. I had them go after the tasty veggy based wire wrap on one of the injector wires. I use the peppermit oil weekly on the fabric above the firewall and engine, holds the oil better than plastic, been working.

good call on under the engine cover. will check that out asap. i did a moderate misting over the entire bay, concentrating on flat plasticky areas and was a bit more generous with the foam under the hood, around the tires where it meets the ground and all around the garage.

good luck to you and thanks for the tips.

Install the rear USB-C ports.
Installation was super easy after I spend hours starching my head over how to run the wires.

I’ll create a separate post with how to and part number.
Until then Before and after photos

Depends where you live. Some areas of England are basically lawless.

Personally, I’d be pi55ed if my car was stolen but if it was taken, I wouldn’t want it back afterwards. I’d also hate to have an attempted theft as the insurance Co would want to repair it so I don’t see the point in steering locks or Ghost.

It’s insured, I’ll get a brand new latest model as a replacement.
