you could buy a '22 G42 230i or m240 and a G87, and swap all the G87 go fast parts into the G42 with idrive 7 and manual climate control. That's your easiest retrofit

Maybe they could squeeze an analogue speedometer and Tachometer in there as well

I set the temp to 68 and set everything to auto program when I bought it. I swear I have not changed it after that

I will say (in the limited time I've had with the car) the auto climate is pretty spectacular. We'll see how it handles the Texas summer but for now I'm impressed.

I've had the opposite experience. Mine has turned on heated seats when it's 70 degrees outside but not when it's 40 degrees. Heated steering wheel turns on at random times. Even with the auto program off, the heated steering wheel turns on when I remote start the vehicle - that one I don't understand?

IDrive 7 was much less complex and worked great. You could set the specific temperature for seats & steering wheel to turn on, didn't have to go through multiple screens to turn on the seats. They removed things nobody complained about to be "fancier" and more complicated.
