Surely the rear wing would look better if it were color matched. . . . hopefully some customers will have professional paint shops do the job. Would look more like E30 M3 wing or E36 LTW.

The front lip spoiler is about the least offensive add-on. lol The side skirt wings are out of proportion and do nothing for car's profile. The rear wing makes this thing look like a Supra, not an M2, the roof wing enters JDM territory ( the ghetto side ), but those fender brows, those fender brows….cheesy, cheap and needless. While these items may have performance benefits, they also worsen the car's already imperfect aesthetics. M Performance premium parts are supposed to elevate your car, not turn it into a bat mobile!

When I see what I would describe as the "clunkiness" of the front and rear body panels I am reminded of the 1973 M race car that is heralded among BMW fans. The wing in the pics is reminiscent of it as well. That might be where they are going with this. 50th Anniversary.

In my opinion rear wing looks fine. The rest of the bits seem superfluous but might sell to a few customers if the G87 M2 becomes the next DTM platform.

That's nearly $100K for BMWs take on a STi.
I know people will compare the looks of this car with these parts to something like a GT3 and say that the Porsche, especially the RS is just as wild; but there's a real valid reason for the Porsche or a Z06/7 to look like that. The reason these parts look the way they do is BMW believes people think it looks cool.

This is it man. This is now German BMW styling, not a plan to cater to the Asian market.

Repeatedly rationalizing poor design choices by saying it's an appeal to Asian markets is getting old. Love it or hate it, BMW has carved this niche intentionally and should now be accepted as overstyled BMW specific styling. Honestly no one is designing cars like this, not even Asian car makers.

Well, of course this is the new design language from BMW…but just look a bit at some statistics and then you know why maybe that language has evolved

If you sell more than double the cars in China than in Germany itself…what you gonna focus on mainly? This still does not mean that the cars won't appeal in other markets

The only things I like are the CF mirror caps and the CF front air intake bits in the front bumper... the side stick on stuff looks very bad.
