M2 Wing on M240i?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows if the new G87 M2 Carbon Spoiler will fit on the G42 M240i? In regards to what spoiler, I've attached a photo below.

At this point I'm sure no one knows yet. It looks like the trunk is the exact same part for both cars, but drilling may or may not be required??

I'd personally prefer the duck tail spoiler over this, for the M-lite

I remember it being mentioned somewhere that the doors, trunk and hood are carried over from the G42 so yes the spoiler should fit the trunk no problem.

That's why I hope to see more aftermarket rear spoilers available for the M2/G42

I had an STi and the wing came off. A year or two later Subaru started offering the car w/o the wing. Good move Subaru.

I wonder if the BMW piece is 3M taped? Or a piece that size will require drilling into the trunk lid??

I'm sure it will be bolted through the trunk lid. Not doing so would be a huge liability.

I like it but I would be really hesitant due to the drilling and bolting. Due to it I am putting the CF MP part upon delivery.

I see you're one of those easily offended by opinions. Maybe you should block me if you're so sensitive?

Dealer badging should be banned. I absolutely despise it.

Am I the only one finding it reminiscent of the old LTW style wings?

Hatorade must be on sale this month. All of you need to just tuck your sacks until after the holidays. Did someone piss in your Cheerios this morning or was it the Christmas music on the radio that got your panties all in a twist?

Has anyone installed this wing on a G42? If so, how hard was the install?
