I am trying to resist an emotional response right now. I'm hoping for more on the official reveal. Right now, it's just not grabbing my attention like the F87 did. Right now, I'm of the mind to wait for LCI.

my spidey sense is tingling here and tells me this is not what the actual production car will look like
the hips don't actually look wider than the m240? |

The middle section of the rear bumper being inset is weird. I went back to look at the camo images and you can see the same inset. The camo hid it enough but the inset just accentuates the rocket ship afterburner detail things on he rear quarter panels which was already cheap looking.

I love it. KILLER color. Thrilled to not have to wait for an individual color.

The F87 was 73in vs 69.8 on the F22 The G42 is now 72in. The M Lite's gotten so much beefier that the G87 can't be that much wider given that the G80 itself is only 74.5in |

I have confirmation that this is the production car from someone who has seen it. Looks like the China leaked bumper was spot on from the beginning.

Can't really tell but is the rear flared a little bit more?

That's basically G42 rear with quad exhaust. Some G42 owners are running that and sadly it does look better than the G87 rear

Where do I even start. The front and back look like they've been designed by 2 different teams. I was looking forward to buying the LCI. The widened rear panel looks like a cheap bolt on, maybe due to color. Maybe it'll grow on me but I'd rather get the g80 over this

What seats are we seeing here? Are they CF premium seats, or something else?
Also, I'm thinking this is a 90% finished model. It should have anniversary roundells, and surely side badges? Right? |

Looks like I called it in the photoshop thread when I said the 240i was gonna be better looking than the M2 if the photoshops were accurate.

Thank God I just bought my M4 CS this week as the new M2 was the only other car I was considering. I decided I couldn't deal with the wrap screen so went with the CS. Now that I've seen the actual new M2 itself, I'm on cloud nine.

A lot of people had similar feelings and opinions towards the g80/g82 initially and now look at their opinions - it grew on them with some time. I'll give BMW benefit of the doubt for now and wait for the reveal and reviews. Still a strong consideration to fulfill my first allocation
