New M2

Wow!

Logging back into this forum after a few years was a real pain! Major hassle ...

Anyways I just ordered a 2024 M2, trading in my 2019 M2 Comp. Hoping to post my comparison review eventually.

One question: Does this M2 come with a USB port to download music files into memory, or am I restricted to only a Bluetooth connection to my iPhone?

Great question. I always prefer FLAC from a USB stick in the car. Hoping that’s an option.

You can use USB as an audio source. Happy to grab a shot when I'm with my car next week.

Note, you'll have to use the USB A port in the dash console as the C port in the armrest is power only.

Thanks folks.

Local dealer could not answer this question, so I guess I'll have to wait and see what I get.

You can use pretty well any size memory stick in the USB-A port. I have one with about 6,000 tracks on it.

Yup, I have my entire cd collection (873) converted to mp3 on a memory stick. With road noise and a somewhat limited audio reproduction system, it makes little sense to use uncompressed files such as FLAC or WAV.
IMO
