N43 Oil Filter Cap
Hi
I believe the oil filter cap comes with a "cage". I've seen some videos of the 6-cylinder engines where there is a spring and non-return valve. I inspected the filter cap on my N43 and yes the "cage" is there, but I can't see any spring. Could someone confirm what the filter cap should look like and if the spring is missing, how does it manage to come out without the cage being removed? Cheers. |

I have a 6-cylinder and there's a cage but no spring. The cage is solidly fixed to the cap and you'd have to give it a fairly strong pull or twist to remove it...
