Pure 800 turbo

Who's thinking turbo upgrade to maximize their B58?!

Adding port injection? GESI DP? Charge pipe? 93/e85 tunes?

Can't let Supras have all the fun!

Let's hear about mod plans!

Can't do much more than a JB4 and bolt ons atm. Locked DME and whatnot... a JB4 will get you in the 500 WHP neighborhood tho, so that's good lol.

I can't be the only one who's had a pile of parts in the garage waiting to go on the car...who's with me? Ha!

I'm planning to run a JB4, de-catted down pipe & heat exchanger while I wait for the unlocked DME.

Also tempted to bolt on a VTT GC Turbo or a Pure800 (still deciding on how much hp I'm chasing) while waiting for the DME unlock and see how the stock ECU can deal with it but who knows what drive-ability would be like without a tune?!

DM FEMTOEVO on Instagram. Ship your ecu and MG flasher supports now. Wedge tuning can support once it's unlocked.

Planning on pure 800 turbo, downpipe, hpfp upgrade(once available), trans tune(once available)

I'd like to be making 650awhp before the end of the year.

8hp70 trans swap if needed or just built the 8hp50 if there is no coding support.

If i get impatient waiting for a hpfp solution, I may do a simple meth kit to add a little but of fueling in the charge pipe.

I'll likely need to replace the driveshaft as well, some guys have smoked theirs.

Wow, what will all that cost, and what are your expectations once done?

At what step? Probably around 10k. Could likely make 750awhp after the trans swap. At that point I'd want to build the motor, and make 900+ with a bigger turbo.

Lol I'm with you. I got a new jb4 and some spacers in the garage waiting ha. I have a 1000+hp mk4 Supra I'm almost done with so nothing too crazy , since this will be my daily. I will add a downpipe, bms intake(jus for the sound) , some springs, front lip, and call it a day.

But I'm about to upgrade to a X3MC that I got in the order bank too at work if we don't get an allocation soon. I been waiting almost 3 months just for an allocation, and after getting our March allocations today we still didn't get a m240i, ugh! That just goes to show all of you that even working for Bmw doesn't make it come any faster in these times.

I'm going the other way. I got the 240, but waiting for my allocation for an M4CX. If it doesn't come through soon I'm just going to start hunting and buy one in transit to a dealership like I did the 240

I can't blame you. I wish I could but bmw gives us what's called "center employee program" money. Unfortunately g80 and g82s don't have CEP money on them so my dealership would make me pay msrp for a m3 or m4. So I opted for the m240i. The only M cars that get CEP is x3/4m and M5. It's a deal no regular customer can get and too good to pass up. Buy rate, and the discount on either car is.. let's just say 5 digits.

Lol. A client traded back his 22 x3mc with 800 miles on it that sits in front of my office in the showroom. After looking at it everyday and driving it, of course I fell in love with it and then stuck a order in the order bank for one lmao!
Basically, which ever car we get an allocation for first I'm going to take. I think I'll be happy with either.

Just read your post and it got me worried. I ordered a M240i on 1/21, having no clue that orders needed to be submitted by 1/25, so lucked out there. I just texted my salesman to see if they got an allocation and if my order went through and he confirmed it did. He doesn't think I'll have a Production Number until late February, though.

If you put in an order and its accepted you should get a production number immediately.

My allocation came though and put this order in on Tuesday. Production number and build week were available immediately.

Hendo is correct. Once it goes into 111 status (order accepted) that means the dealership got a allocation and that's when you get a production number. However, it doesn't do you much good until it goes into 150 status, "scheduled for production" and that's when you can really start tracking it.

Met my salesman today for the first time in person - great guy! Told him I'm about to say the 6 words every doctor and car salesman hates to hear, "I read it on the internet.". lol

I appreciate everyone's guidance, as the Adaptive Cruise Control was indeed an option the dealership could add, even though it's not on BMW's web configuration. Didn't feel good about spending $750 for it, but it is what it is.

Got everything figured out regarding the order. I have been placed in the order bank, along with many other customers and various models, but it's not actually "ordered" like I thought it was. I suspect it will be soon, probably be the end of February.

They had a sold 230i I was able to sit in, and very pleased with the comfort of the seats. They also had a sold M440i with my same color combo - Brooklyn Grey w/ Tacora Red interior - and it was amazing! Looking forward to this summer.

I was thinking about this and I would rather go with a C6 Z06 vette and just mod that. Its easier and will get you higher HP numbers. I like the supra but after all the costs of parts and time it gets wild how much you end up spending. I think getting another 100hp is okay but anything more and you have to watch the transmission or rebuild the engine components so it doesn't blow up as easy.

They've got an issue with the cylinder head. I had three of them, all modified. Each one had upgraded valves but all three trashed the motor eventually.

My cousin had one and somehow he made the dealer do a buy-back due to some type of engine issue. I forget the details now, but seem to recall it was a well documented problem.

Talking about the Z06 right? what other cars in that range would you recommend? 911 is too pricey now, Cayman S is pricey but no power and more handling, E46 would be fun for the track but still limited modification able. The Vette seems like a good middle ground. I had a 94 NSX with a comptech SC at 8.5 psi with an air to water IC and some other goodies but sold it 4 years ago. Deeply regret that move now. What other options would you guys throw out there?

I love the Z06 & have for a while now, but for me & where I live - I need AWD for my fun car otherwise it's not as much fun from Nov - April.

I had a 2012 Mustang GT & found out the hard way after 7 years of Evo ownership, I won't make a RWD in Wisconsin mistake again. Yes I have a truck, but AWD in my performance car just makes more sense to me & how I like to drive.

Any more updates from those with M240i Xdrive + Pure 800 turbo setup?

I'm enjoying my RS3 but thinking about the above vs a S58 M2, IF the forthcoming M2 gets a trim level with XDrive.

I am more and more tempted to get a low end base M3 manual to order. Price isn't as bad as I thought when you get RWD and less optioned out. I mostly want that better engine to mess around with on the S58
