I am only going to do PPF in front of the rear wheel wells.

I’m keeping this car until I drive it off a bridge and rock chips usually don’t bother me. I’ve gotten a bumper or two repainted after several years and usually do my own “LCI” with other mods.

Older PPF would turn yellow over time, but that's mostly a thing of the past. Most of the major brands on the market today do not yellow.
5+ years ... Zero peeling, zero discoloration.

Autoflex is the way to go.

Living in the land of snow and cold and then road construction, their is sand, rocks, pieces of a house, and grandma's recliner lying all over the roads. Spring time before the rains ( if we get any ) wash some of it away makes it seem like you are getting sandblasted driving down the road. PPF is nice to mitigate that damage.

I daily drive my G87 and had the whole car PPF'd. It's good for the peace of mind.

I did the same for my F87 and had no issues in 3 years of ownership.

Public Service Announcement: Don't apply P&S Paintgloss and Dream Maker the week before and think it'll just "wash off" the day before PPF install. My installer called and asked what was on the car? He said it took a bit more IPA and prep to get it ready. 🤓🤪
