You could get a selling price a bit lower ($500) easily.
Also it is generally a bad idea to make a down payment on a lease, as this money will be lost if the car gets totaled. You can lower your payments by making up to 7 additional security deposits.

He told me I was getting $800 over invoice, and that was the best he could do. I was going to do 3 MSD's but he told me that would only lower the monthly payment $8 per MSD. I would be better off doing the down payment.

the msd's are refunded at the end of the lease (assuming there is no damage to the car). the down payment is gone. the down payment is also gone if you total the car...

They are giving you the run-around, you can get a much better deal. Only pay acquisition fee, first months payment, and license fees up front.

Contact member "golffrr". He will hook you up. Even if you don't get a car from him, you can use his numbers for negotiation.

Isn't there a $1,495 option credit also?

Oh and you are not getting $800 over invoice, that is a straight up lie. Invoice pricing is around, msrp minus 8%.

I asked them about the 1,495 option credit and he said it only applied to DCT trans, and I want manual.

Ha, figured i wasnt getting invoice...

EDIT: actually I cant use the PM system yet

This would have been a great deal when the 335is came out last year. People are buying at invoice or under now.

The option credit should apply no matter what transmission. It is just that, a credit towards any options you get on the car.

link? i've been trying to find out exactly what this 'option credit' is exactly as iv'e seen it around. i originally thought it was a credit of 1495 towards the dct transmission as i believe it was 1500 a few months ago.

RaceUnderTheSon - I noticed you live in Orange County. I live in San Diegoand am interested in purchasing a 2011 335is. I've been getting the runaround at the dealerships here. The car I want is very specific and will have to be something custom built. I'm looking for around invoice to 500 above invoice. Did your dealership offer you a discount for a car in the lot or something that was custom ordered. If so, which dealership did you buy the car from and who specifically helped you out. Looking to get car at these 'near invoice' pricing.
