Autocar this week
had article comparing the 335i with the new skyline
but the pics they had of the bmw wasnt a 335i, it was an auto but without paddles so gave the game away. No pic of exhausts so that didnt give it away so there near enuff compared a 330i or 325 or even a 320i with a skyline but wrote up as if it was a 335i, and mentioned the stats obviously of the 335i Bit poor from them really, they should have gone that extra mile to get hold of one i think! good read-up tho and the bm comes out on top:rocks: Carl

The new skyline is much softer and available with a choice of engines, I beleive it`ll be badged as "Infiniti" which is Nissans premium brand in Ummerica. Much like Lexus is to Toyota. |

The new GTR (the ones you have seen are just the crappy base models that the UK didn't previously get) is the one everyone will be interested in.
Previous Skyline GTRs were restricted to 280 bhp due to Jap law (but 1000 quid gets you 400hp), this law has now been dropped and the new model will be about 460-500bhp. In testing round the Nurburgring it unofficially beat the stock raod car world record.!! Cost approx 65k, aimed against the 911 turbo. |
