19 " Tyre Size

Has anyone put 19's on their E90 and lowered it?

I have Alpina Dynamics coming for my E91 and the recommended tyres are 225/35/19 and 255/30/19 - However these are short of stock at the moment and they are saying 235 and 365 repectively - Will these be alright, without any rubbing issues - Most people on the American forums seem to fit this size

Thanks in advance

Oli

I have 235/35/19 on front and 265/30/19 on rear (just this minute ordered some new F1`s). These are the sizes Alpina fit to their D3 and B3 models, so def. no problems.

Mine is lowered also.

235 on the front is not a problem.

265 on the rear with the correct offset is also not a problem. I have 265 on a 9.5" BBS CH rim with a 10mm spacer, this gives me an offset of 30mm and they catch unless you roll the arches.

Does anyone know if you can use 235(front) and 265(rear) sized tyres on original BMW 19" rims? (SE 5 spoke or M Sport 225's)

From the following site:

http://zoouz.free.fr/e90_wh.htm

At the bottom of the page, the rim/tyre sizes are:

8 x 19 Front, ET 37, 225/35 R19
9 x 19 Rear, ET 39, 255/30 R19

So, just wondering if these rims will take 235's and 265's?

Thanks.
