Photoshop sidesill

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I have zero photoshop skills so i am wondering if anyone can clean this up. I am not a big fan of the glass black sideskirt, specifically, it's just too much/fat glass black. If i painted the lower part of the skirt (around the angle design) to match the body, I think this looks much better, at least to me. I am ordering one this week and i am trying to imagine what it could look like.

thoughts?

Garage List
Looks like my incoming car, except I have the M792 wheels. I really like your idea and might steal it. I don't have PS skills either or I'd try. Since you're better than I am can you try also painting the rear diffuser except for the center section?

I was thinking something similar, except installing vinyl matching the body paint color over the upper portion of the gloss black-painted rocker panels...

That's a good idea as well…I need to try that on Brooklyn grey…hard to see the contrast on Blue

I’m liking the new 2 except for these side skirts. Think they’d look much better in body colour. I’d also be worried about scratching/swirling. Not sure if they are plastic? They look like ledges that all kinds of road dirt will settle on. Curious design choice.

I will be very tempted to price out colour match vinyl wrap vs re-paint (skirts) if I buy one with M-Sport body kit.

I think that would be the best look for the 2 series. The bottom centre of the back in black and the rest including the side skirts in the body colour. Just my opinion though.

Feel free to mock my nonexistent MS Paint skills lol I did this in less than 5 minutes.

The only M240i that I have seen in the flesh was a white one, and I thought the big plastic skateboard was too big on the top part of it.

I'm hoping that it is hidden more on my Thundernight since it will blend a lot more.

That said, if I was going to have part of the skateboard wrapped, I think I would do like Jonesing4a2 said and cover up the top portion and leave the bottom black.

Kind of like in my hideous product below.
