JB4 Stage 2 N55 Review
Installation was a breeze, very easy to install. Product was shipped fast and with everything i need. The menu options are amazing.
From Stock to Stage 2 is a huge difference, car pulls insane top end. The JB Stage 1 was great but Stage 2 pulls like a hell top end. The car just acts like it has a V10 engine in it, Driving it in D mode feels exactly like stock instead of that surge feeling that the JB stage 1 had. But once you nail it it is a smooth pull you can feel TQ then smooth HP all the way to 6000RPMS. Overall i love the JB4 Stage 2 and look forward to the meth kit from Terry! My review was based on my completely stock car with JB4 Stage 2 only. 335i N55 6sp Auto. Oh wow amazing i just noticed i have been on map 1 this whole time running only 12psi!!! I would say it compares the the Procede pretty well now but for some reason the top end on the JB4 is just mad fast i don't know why. I am on 14 psi and stock everything. The JB4 also has alot more in dash features than the Procede.

Alright, I got it installed about an hour ago. First impressions..car holds gear much, much longer especially past 4th. Car feels very top end heavy. There is no more jerk when you accelerate midway to build up boost. It just goes.
I wouldn't say turbo lag is completely eliminated, but it's definitely reduced. All in all, it's worth the upgrade. The in dash features are priceless. |

Its holding boost better to redline which is why you feel it pul harder up top compared to the stage 1.
Sa x sky add a DP and you will reduce the lag by half of what you have now. On the stage 1 we saved a FULL second 60-100 when we just stomped on it. |

I don't know whether to get DP's or exhaust first.....I've been having my heart set out on an exhaust for the past few months. Since I'm mainly after sound, DP's are the cheaper alternative and provide the HP gain too..I need a week or two to think about it.

Bah, the SES light came on for the first time since I've installed the tune after 3000 miles as I left my house to go to the pool hall. Cleared the code and hasn't popped up again..Hope that was a fluke.

Get the DP first for sure. I'm sure everyone will agree

SES light came up again...........don't know what's wrong. When Matt@Camber-Toe installed it, I didn't see anything out of place. So is this just a software thing?

Checked for codes and got one. 2E4C. Any idea what that is?
Nevermind..checked the code..all it means is that my actuator plug if unplugged. No other code to cause the SES light...... |

I think Terry and I fixed the issue. Plugged back the actuator cable, checked for codes: 0.
Turned CANflap on, and auto clear on, and so far so good. Wont be able to drive the car till tomorrow to really test the waters, but I'll keep you guys posted if anything happens to pop up. |
