Yes. There's a lot of cars that got on the Grand Phoneix ship headed to port Brunswick…including mine finally!

Found out my M240 is on the Grand Phoenix also!! expected in Brunswick, GA night of Jan 29. Ship is underway & chugging along in the Gulf. My dealer is NC, but most our vehicles need the critical audio receiver module so will sit at port for a while I assume

Actually left the port (Veracruz) on 1/24
    Ship name - Viking Destiny
Scheduled to arrive in Baltimore on 2/7

I'm hoping mine doesn't get stuck any further. It sat in Ready for a transport for almost 5 weeks. I've checked the recall link tool and it shows nothing being held up on mine and a Genius confirmed this for me. Hopefully your situation is the same.

I have heard of cases where the VPC opened the work order for the RAM module once the car reached the destination port but wasn't being shown as having the RAM missing while awaiting for shipment from the exit port or while in transit.

My car is also ready for shipment and certainly hope we dont get stuck once they reach the destination port.

Actually, "In Transit" also includes the time the car spends being transported from the destination port to your dealership. So it's a fairly broad step.

With that said, the BMW website is pretty wonky. After I watched my car get transported across the Gulf of Mexico to Galveston, the car went back to "At the Port" status. I called BMW Genius and they confirmed that the car would be delivered to my dealership in Austin on Sunday the 30th.

Do you know if you had the RAM stop sale with your car? If so, I'm assuming it has already been fixed or is scheduled to be fixed prior the the 30th? I'm in Austin too and hoping my car hitches a ride on the same truck, but recall tracker still shows open on RAM for me.

It goes into "at the port" at the departure port and then back to that again at the arrival port.

Let's just face it… it's going to take a long time. Expect 4-6 months people. I haven't been to work in a week, but when I checked the locator last Friday. There was only 163 priority 3 and 5 allocations nation wide for m240s at the time.

Not sure exactly what that means, are you saying there's only 163 sold M240's presently being built?... if that's what you mean.. it feels like half of them on on this forum

So, now a blizzard is about to descend on the NY Ports this weekend. Looks like the Grande Mirafiori will be sailing right into it. The universe just doesn't want us to take delivery of these cars

On the same ship, but the Genius told me today that my car is estimated to arrive at the Baltimore vehicle processing center on 2/9. Not sure how many stops it's making along the way, but it looks like it's currently headed to Freeport, TX.

Which Ohio dealer did you buy from?

I'm stationed overseas in Italy, but I'm due to move back to the states in September. I placed an order for an M240i 2 weeks ago for a March production slot. The dealership says it should get here around May or June, but judging from this thread…..I'd be lucky if that were true. My worry is that the car will not arrive before I leave back to the states.

I ended up going with a dealer in Pittsburgh, PA. I usually try to keep my business in my home state, but no Ohio dealers were offering discounts and I got 4% off in Pennsylvania. I only live about 50 miles from Pittsburgh, so it made the most sense.

Mine sailed thru in 2 months, with the dreaded RAM stop sale. Ordered 12/3/21 now has "closed" stop sale and is in overland transport to dealer from Oxnard VDC. So roughly 2 months.

One thing you mention few allocations nationwide, should not that mean perhaps supply of RAM might be able to catch up? The delay is not production or shipping but rather availability of the RAM module, i don't think anyone has any insight in how deficient the supply (RAM) is or how it is expected catch up or not. There have been hundreds of posts relating to the RAM module replacement problem yet no one has any definitive info on how badly that supply is, at least BMW is not saying. I would think the fewer orders the better chance of RAM being supplied and the quicker the process from order to dealer would be. But then here's the catch, that module is likely needed for a number of other BMW models and likely even non BMW models with the HK systems, that could mean a continuing supply problem?

No issues with RAM for me. My car was in Final Assembly phase for three weeks and then Ready for Transport for three weeks. And then I showed it was In Transit for a couple of days. So I know it's definitely in Texas right now.
