Windscreen Trim Replaced

I finally managed to get around to doing this today on my e93. Old windscreen trim was sun damaged and badly cracking and peeling in places. £35 for a brand new OEM one and made a huge difference.

Looks good. New one has a split in the corner as pictured? How was the job?

How easy/hard was it to get the old glue off?

Overall not too difficult, the old one just peels out, hardest part is removing all the glue/old bits of rubber from the gap. Using intensive tar remover seemed to work quite nicely.

It's quite difficult to line the new one up perfectly as it comes as one complete U-shape trim. Took me about 30 mins overall

Got mine from fcp euro, lifetime replacement warranty is great if it ever dries out again.
