Rinse. Long description, but it takes me about 3 minutes a wheel. I used the same procedure with my Golf R with phalanx wheels. Much easier and quicker using fingers with a thin cotton covering to get into everything. Hope this is useful.
Thanks for the advice. These wheels are hard to clean. I use a tire brush as well as those woolie brushes and still miss spots. They are only clean until you drive off. I even ceramic coated them which helps but not much.

Hi all! Just traded my ‘21 m340i for a ‘24 m240i ZTK. I have an extra set of staggered 792m wheels from my m340 not ZTK and wondered if they will fit my m240 ZTK. I was planning on replacing the tires on the 792 to be the 245/255 set up if possible with all seasons for the winter. Can anyone confirm these wheels will fit the M240 with the bigger brakes? Looking this up I couldn’t find definite answers.

Thank you for your help!

Part numbers 36118089894/5 yes. If you have x drive stick to the recommend star marked tyres.

792M 8.5” wide et40 should fit the front and rear so a square tire setup can be used on RWD and AWD cars, avoiding the <= 1% difference in rolling diameters on AWD cars.

Whoa!
I'm glad I just saw this! I am about to pull the trigger on 255 on all four wheels. I was under the impression that everything would be fine as long as the wheel's diameter was okay.

Pardon the ignorance, but would the following setup work for a '22 m240i with the ZTK package in case I don't want to do a square setup? Looking at APEX VS-5RS

19x9.5 ET28
19x10.5 ET45

Is anyone running the 898 m wheels on a ZTK G42? I really like the simple look of these in frozen gunmetal but they are usually sold in a (8Jx19 ET:27, 8,5Jx19 ET:40) set. If I were to buy 4 individual rear wheels from this set (8,5Jx19 ET:40), could that work for a square setup running 255/35/19? I think I would need spacers to push the wheels out a bit. The wheels themselves are not terribly pricey.

I am still considering the APEX VS-5RS for a square setup but I've always liked the look of these OEMs in that color.

Any advice is appreciated.

The rears would match OEM 792 19x8.5 +40 spec with the 255/35

The fronts would be sunkun in by 20mm. However, based on APEX's post (with the 19x9.5 +25 wheels barely clearing the struts), I would imagine you would need a 10 ~ 12mm spacer to avoid the Strut.

I have those as my winter set. Have. Search for 898M.
12mm spacers all round to account for the offset and yet still allow me to have the 893m as a summer set should the spaced stock to the hub.

Never really understood the trend here to have overly wide tyres on every corner.

The set that you have for winter (I've seen members rock that setup), you probably have the narrower front wheels (8x19 ET:27)? Or are you running the 8.5x19 ET:40 all around as a square setup? I am definitely not trying to go super wide. I just want a square setup to be able to rotate and balance my tires. I currently have 13mm spacers on factory ZTK package wheels to the flush look, so you're saying that I can just repurpose them for the 898m square setup and be just fine?

I have the correct staggered set up on both sets. If your 13mm spaces work on the 893M wheels, they will be fine for the 898M.

The 898 wheels will not be as flush (couple of mm IIRC) as the off set is different.

Cannockwolf had a post detailing the offset sizes and spacers. Search for that.
