Given that the front wheels were 8" with a 27 offset, do you think it would be okay to use an 8" BMW factory wheel with a 30 offset?

By increasing the offset by 3mm you will lose 3mm of internal clearance, hard to say if it fits depends on how much space there is between the brake caliper and the inside of the rim. I'd say yes because the caliper doesn't seem that big to me, but I don't know the Gxx platform, you'd have to try it.

I'm thinking about putting GR Supra wheels on my G42. I like the looks of the GR Supra wheels and how much they concave. 19x9 et 32 and 19x10 et 40. They are also decently priced and are forged as well. Occasionally I see them for sale with very low mileage tires.

I'm thinking either keeping the PSS rears (3000 miles off of the supra) at 275/35/19 and getting 2 new front PS4 tires at 245/40/19. The diameter difference is 0.4%. Is this a bad idea to put different front and rear tires since for xdrive? The PSS are no longer for sale as replacement options.

Second option which I think the rears are too wide and might rub, front 245/35/19 rear 285/30/19. although it's the best option when it comes to staggered on xdrive.

Third option is 235/40/19 and 265/35/19. 0.4% diameter difference between front and rear.

Does "Revs/Mile" matter? Does xdrive automatically adjust for that? since the performance wheels and tires package comes with 245/35 front and 255/35 rear. Only the 245/35 and 285/30 have the same Revs/Mile between front and rear according to tiresize.com

I would avoid putting tires too large in the rear versus in the front unless you do it for look and don't plan to push your car. The bigger the difference the more your car will understeer. The Supra is RWD and need wider tires in the rear but not an M240 xdrive. I would stick with 245/255 or keep that ratio 255/265, etc

I'm about to pick up my new m240i. I got the cooling and hp package on the car so I think the tires are 245/35 front and 255/35 rear. I usually put on a separate set of wheels and tires for the winter, but since this car is so new and it sounds like there aren't a lot of wheel options out there for it yet. as a result, I'm thinking for now of just getting a set of either all seasons or snows and mount them on the stock wheels to get me through the winter in Denver, which are pretty mild these days (knock on wood). my question is can I do the narrower 225/40 tire on the front wheels that comes on the car without the cooling and hp package? I'm thinking having a slightly narrower tire in front might be better for winter. let me know what you all think. thanks!

According to this site (https://tiresize.com/calculator/), a 225/40/R19 set-up would be 1.2% (0.3 inches) taller than 245/35/R19. They still show that difference in the "green" (okay) zone.

These are good-looking wheels, and can be picked up eBay with PS4S's for the same as tires alone. Are these wheels the proper size for the M240 xDrive?

Yeah, even my 255/35-19s are shorter than the front 225/40s I pulled off...by .2 inches too.

thanks all for your thoughts on this. I just wanted to confirm this setup would work.

does anyone happen to know how wide the wheels are on this car as I can't seem to find that info anywhere? I have the 19" wheels that come with the cooling and hp package

Anybody know if volk TE37's have the good spec for these cars?

they should be a good fit for the G42, when I find a good set I think I'll follow the 245/35 front and 255/35 rears. Though the rears might have a stretched look but it shouldn't be too bad.

So the offset's are the same as the G42 OEM wheels?

do you all think that the wheels for an F44 M235i gran coupe will fit the new M240i? the GC has a 5x112 bolt pattern just like the new M240i.

Im hoping for some TE37 matte blue gunmetals. Im hoping to run either an 8.5/9.5 set up with 255 front 265 rear or maybe ever see if we can squeeze 9/10 on the girl.

Im believe they have a 27 or 33 in the front and the and a 45 for the rear should work. Change of hub sucks because no one I now has any wheels to bolt on to dummy test.

I have to wait anyways until the spring because I will put this on springs too and need to see clearance once dropped.

Agree...they are gorgeous...a little reminiscent of the M2 CS wheels. Nice looking car!

I have OZ Superturismo LMs in 8.5 width and 30ET (also on my 230i). Looks very similar fender alignment, though my tires are OE rear sized 255/35s.

Anyone know if they are going to make M performance wheels like these for the M240i?
