Just checked with Koya right now. There’s no problem shipping but freight Australia to USA is expensive. They use Fedex and pass on the 40-50% discount but it’s still a killer as it goes on volumetric rather than weight.
At a guesstimate it would be 1400 - 1500 USD (with insurance) plus any customs fees at your end
I can get a cost but would need a zip code

For that you can select an 8.5/9.5/10.5 in different styles and concave. The offsets will be done per customer. That is the big advantage of the pre made forged wheels as they are produced in quantities in Taiwan and shipped for finishing
By comparison the fully forged customs wheels give you more flexibility in width and designs but cost around $1600 AUD ($1170 USD) for the same build quality.
You can also get flow form wheels (and their flow form wheels are way better than the HRE flow form - I've used both) and they are only $513 AUD (around $375 USD each)

I have a set of 255x 35 x 19 MPS4S rear and 245 x 35 x 19 front waiting to be fitted BUT I think a 285 x 30 x 19 will fit the rear and the rolling circumferences are within 0.4% front/rear well in spec for xDrive.
I'll get some idea of shipping costs for you but hang back until I fit these as I'm going to push it to the max within the 1% differential between front and rear. Ideally a 295/30 and 255/35 which has zero difference in circumference but I don't think these will fit
Photo of my old E92 M3 with the sort of fitment I like that will not bottom out or scrape

I just saw this after I posted my last reply. Those shipping costs are too rich for my blood so I'll have to pass. Thanks again though for checking into this and following up! I really appreciate it! I am still interested in seeing your fitment results though!

They mention the tire sizes and there is a rolling circumference difference of over 6% between front and rears. Max is 1% on X drive
Can’t see the X drive standing up to that sort of difference, a good example of how to get it totally wrong

DaveDee something is off with your calculations I think? I see only about a 2.6% difference front to rear of the tire sized Motech says they are using. I heard 245/30R20 and 275/20R20. If they were to use a 245/35R20 front tire, they would back at 1%

Either way, they did not let us know the offsets!

The stock/OEM 893 Performance Rim & Tyre package is:
Front: 8.5 J × 19, 245/35 ZR19 Offset 27
Rear: 9.5 J × 19, 255/35 ZR19 Offset 40

... assuming X-drive can run +/- 1% of this config they should of run 265/20 rears (instead of 275/20) to stay within 1%.


Offset wise, people are running 15mm spacers on the 9.5 J x 19. 15mm to my eye looks like it has too much poke in the rear, especially once the car is lowered.

... on a 10 J x 20 with 265/30s I assume an offset of around 38 is quite safe and will fill the arches nicely and stay within the X-drive 1% rolling diameter. In this offset Tire is 3 mm closer to suspension components, Rim is 4 mm closer to suspension components. The tire will stick out 7 mm farther. Rim will stick out 8 mm farther toward the arch. Not too much poke.

Sorry I meant - 275/30 not /20. 30 profile F & R is what I think they have on those 20's.

Wonder why BMW didn't go with this setup for the performance package rather than the staggered setup? Seems like this would be more desirable.

I had 255 square on my F22 and noticed a bit more under steer. Nothing terrible, and certainly worth the looks and high speed stability, but maybe BMW feels the staggered setup is more balanced drive-wise.

Preliminary photos . Suspension not yet done but fitment of wheels complete
Due to heavy rain and poor weather the photos are ordinary but are there for info only on fitment

These are practical and quite flush fit
Brand is Koya Forged
Location Australia
Fully forged wheels
Rear: 9.5" x 19 ET 35 with MPS 4S 255/35/19
Front: 8.5 x 19 ET 20 with MPS 4S 245/35/19

X-Drive variation rolling diameter 0.8% (within the 1% tolerance)
The new front tyre has a smaller diameter than the OE 220/40/19 so ride height is reduced at the from by 3.9mm (and arch gap increased the same)

The whole setup is substantially lighter with weight savings all in around 20 KGs of unsprung weight

Looks sharp, Dave! Did you notice the far feel or handling change any with the lighter wheels and new tires?

The wheels and tires make a huge difference, I expected they would and the driving experience is already much sharper and lighter.
Springs are on the way and hopefully will be installed in a week or so, also planning on doing the M performace brake upgrade.
Exhaust development starts next week so the outside will be then finished
Springs are Eibach which give just the right ground clearance (we have a legal ground clearance of 100mm here). The suspension was between MSS adjustable and Eibach.
