Hi folks,

I have Mini Cooper Coupe SD. VIN number of car is: WMWSX710X0T440234. (is it important to know donor car VIN??)
Recently, navigation unit stopped wrok, so I took the car to a service, where they have replaced MINI Navigation system unit with another used one from another car.

Now, I have screen on display and all works like before exept Navigation. When I start the car, first 30 seconds navigation works, but after that, system exit to main menu and navigation icon is disabled and grayed.

I am searching internat last few days and I have tried few things, but I wasn"t succesfull to fix this issue.

I guess that probem is with FSC codes because the unit is from another car. Is it possible to fix this problem on this car.

Any help will be great!

Car had CHAMP2 from factory. Assuming a like CHAMP2 was installed, it can only work if you load your set of factory issued VIN Matching FSC Codes in Donor CHAMP2, and that is only possible if Donor CHAMP2 is older than your CHAMP2, otherwise you need to use Donor FSC Codes and an Emulator / Activation Module.

Is it possible to know date of unit from menu of infotainment? Also, yesterday I found out that PDC and Voice control dont work same as navigation.

No. It is actually the FSC Creation Date that matters, and normally car Build Date is a good indication of FSC Creation Date. Voice Control is enabled via FSC Code, so of course it too is not working. I have no idea on Emulator. I think any Emulator working on CHAMP2 in BMW will also work on CHAMP2 in Mini.
