Limp mode after flashing tune.

2008 BMW 335xi e92.

Hey guys so I just reinstalled new 17t turbos and I flashed an old map I had and the car ran pretty good for several weeks, and then I flashed the map again to turn off the cold start noise reduction. And then the car was throwing this code :

2ABD - DME: Boost-pressure sensor, overrun.

The car was running very poorly and was stalling out(I have an auto), so I then flashed mhd stage 2 and it still ran very bad.

I think I need to get a whole new custom tune.

Considering that the first map wasn’t perfect either and was missing some modifications that I have done to it.

So my question is can a bad tune really cause my car to go into limp mode??

Current mods

17t turbos
Upgraded inlets and outlets(oem location)
Upgraded charge pipe w BOV
Catless dps
Upgraded intercooler
Upgraded hpfp and lpfp

Check the part number on the sensor on the chargepipe and make sure it matches the stock part.

That's the N20 (3.5bar) one. So probably the cause of your issues.

David is the upgraded MAP sensor option checked in the MHD flash options? Did you wait 30 seconds before starting the car as prompted by MHD after the flash finishes?
