STAGE 2 335 from UK

Don't post that often, but had a few issues with the car when i went for a stage 2 setup.

These were the latest pics minus the CYBA Chrome 3.8 pipes - which look MILES better! - I posted these pics a while back but this is how she looks.

Firstly one of the pressure converters had failed and vac pipes had perished, the car only made circa 345BHP which was way down from what it should be, once these were fixed the car made a little more power but decided to get the swirl flaps removed/clean intake manifold as best we could and fit new glow plugs - nothing wrong them but one was more or less seized and had little life in them, I noticed the car actually starts easier now and doesn't expel as much smoke either. Upon swirl flap removal we noticed seals had small leak and thus leaked out boost. Back to ecotune for a power run and the power jumped to over 25BHP!!!.

Currently it has airguides, DPF delete, remap.

I was going to get a wagner IC but its only worth circa 10BHP (according to yanks can find any evidence over here) at most and slightly better MPG but for ~£550ish i dont think I'll bother and I've already spend a lot on it already. Then i thought about a different exhaust but dont want drone etc, again i cant find any evidence on power increases and actually on e46 BMW 330d's aftermarket exhaust with slightly smaller bore increased power.

Big thanks to 'west coast motorwurks' who carried out the majority of the work, Brian knows his way around these engines and has done many things on them and does a top job at reasonable prices, he always keeps the old bits to prove he's done the job too. If your in glasgow look them up!. Stan was also helpful for fault finding, knew his stuff and car runs great!.

Needless to say the car is an absolute rocket and even kept up with a 370BHP focus RS!, traction isnt really an issue in the dry I'm seeing 34.8MPG average and hasn't been reset for month, though i do drive economically. You cant grumble with that performance and MPG!.

I'm sure it made 372 and just under 560LB FT but can't find it, most a 335d has made is 380BHP.

Nice.

The dyno sheet says those are engine numbers. What did it put down to the wheels?

Yeah why does everyone in Europe put their car on a dyno and have it tell them power at engine and not wheels? Every dyno sheet I've seen from Europe says @engine
