They are in the SoCal area, you may be close enough to pick it up. Contact Harold for the best price. Not sure about installers, he may be able to recommend one.

Also, if you want to buy used, you'll need to look in the local or For Sale sections. Used LSDs aren't very common and usually sell quickly.

Well HPA sells both, but I'm not sure what's driving you towards Wavetrac. They are both great, in fact I've had both, although I've had better luck with my Quaife so far. You almost certainly won't be able to tell the difference, and Quaife has been around longer. That being said, you can't really go wrong - the LSD will transform your car.

I don't think the 135i has one either. Correct me if I'm wrong but idk why the 135 would have one while the 335 doesn't.

Really only 3 options for LSD's
  1. OS Giken
  2. Quaife
  3. Wavetrac

If you search, you'll be able to get forum member's reviews of each one. Quaife seems to be the most popular

Traction. In an open diff(non-lsd) when one tire begins to spin all of the power will then go to that wheel and make it spin even worse, which just begins an endless cycle. With an LSD the diff will(attempt) to apply power equally between the two tires. The only down side to an LSD is that if/when you are able to break the tires loose the car gets squirelly, real squirelly.
