Emblems placement

Hi,
Is there any drawings or information with measurements to exactly place "M" emblemats on the front fenders and "M240i" on the back?

I ordered mine without any emblems because I want to change them to the black ones and now I'm wondering how to place them in the right place.

I reached out the local dealer parts department and there is no template or document with fender badge placement. I suppose you’ll need to go off of pictures.

Sure there is, at least for the rear emblems.

Let me know if this link doesn't work: https://myair-bdr.bmwgroup.com/air/f...c7&anchor=53CM

The front and rear emblems have 2 alignment pins an a recess for the emblem, you don't need a template.

Also your link doesn't work. If you could find and link instruction/template for the side fender emblems that would be much appreciated.

The side fender doesn't seem to be listed anywhere. It's a Canadian only emblem I believe and isn't showing up for me.

The "special tool" mentioned is just a laser level.

It’s the same for the other side. draw a rectangle around the emblem shape and reference the new corner on the other side.

Do you know if these measurements are the same for the M240i? I see in the image it’s showing a 230i badge

Where did you find the genuine gloss black side ones? All the ones I see online like AutoID say they're bigger then the OEM ones
