Correct. Make sure you line it up properly against the trunk lid. If you're even a quarter of an inch to one side the other side will lift a bit.

I thought i had it perfect by looking at it but it was ever so slightly off.

Ask me how I know lol. I ended up having to take it off, remove the tape again, reapply, and reinstall. But this time I measured each side before pressing down and removing the center tape.

Gotcha…as I will do so. I'll line the whole inner lip with 3m tape, peel back a few little pieces, place it on the trunk making sure it's lined up properly, then enjoy the beauty. I'll post pics once it's on. Thanks!

Yeah make sure you measure both sides. To our naked eye it looked perfect. But was ever so slightly off.

I can't remember but I wanna say something around 2.5"? Start there and then move it until it matches both sides. Just pick the same point on the spoiler and trunk lid on both sides of course.

I finally installed my spoiler today and my god it looks amazing. The hardest part was aligning the spoiler to sit flush. Good old 3m tape has it on really strong . Thanks for all the tips guys.

Quick question guys…my CF spoiler is lifting a little in the middle and I have to reattach the spoiler. How did you guys place the 3m tape on the spoiler? On what parts of the spoiler did you place tape?

Had the spoiler readjusted today. I had it a tad to high. Reused 3M tape and now the spoiler is flush on the car as it fell into place correctly.

I just installed the latest from RW Carbon. It's a smaller spoiler, but excellent quality CF construction, and the price was good. Installation took 2 hours, with most of the time spent carefully sawing off the old one and removing the factory adhesive. The RW Carbon unit lined up very well on the lip and is attached with industrial-strength 3M adhesive strips. I wanted to take more installation pics, but had 1 day to get it done before I took the car to Sebring for the SRO Fanatec GT race.
