Center console ambient lighting

Has anybody tried this mod yet? I know it is for the G20 but I'm wondering if it would work for the G42 as well.

I won't be doing this, but I appreciate this great disassembly video for this part of the interior. I have a rattle, might be from the cupholder area/lid, so at least I have a visual if I ever get fed up enough to tackle it.

I tried it out, had no luck with it. Do not know if I got a bad unit or simply it does not work.

Yah, I saw that and had a nice chat with them. At the end of the day they said that I would need to buy theirs for it to work and that they would give me the special programming that needs to be done.

considering the below comment, i doubt it. they have OEM upgrades/retrofits. i got thier interior carbon and the pattern is insanely nice. I originally bought some vent carbon off ali and the pattern was all distorted. everything I have bought from them has been better in many ways. Every box i have bought has come from Michigan where their office is.

probably because its thier own stuff. not compatible with ali junk.

You are incorrect. I have received packages from there a few times and they come with branded tape. Pretty sure they are not selling ali products. They also have many unique offerings that are not anywhere to be found on aliexpress.

lol. i dont think people realize, aliexpress is a copy of everyone else (poor quality copies at that), not the other way around.
