Carbon fiber mirror caps for M2

I am considering to purchase a carbon fiber mirror caps. I am deciding between CT carbon or Autotecknic. Which brand is more reliable and produces better quality? Both companies are offering a carbon mirror at $500 after promotion sales

I'd look on Ali Express as most vendors probably get their products from there then upcharge you 500%

Here's an example: these seat backs can be had on Ali Express for $135 instead of $400+.

Get it from ebay for 150 bucks. They are great quality and comes packaged really nicely. Mine arrived in 3 days. I am pretty sure they are all sourced from the same vendor in China.

There was a guy who posted the autotecknic looked ok from a few feet away but had some fitment issues. From my research as I'm looking for some cf mirror caps as well I may go with kies or tre for a bit more akropovic makes some as well that im sure fit good. Looking at the g80 g82 forums it seems oem can be had for a decent price from https://www.schmiedmann.com/ I haven't looked. Personally I want something close to oem as they are in a spot I will see all the time.

I tried ebay carbon fiber mirrors and they were all horrible fitment. The quality of carbon materials were great but it just didn’t fit

I bit the bullet and snagged some off ebay today. I looked for g80 m3 caps as they are the same I think that may be some of the issue the ones that have wings for the g42 230 are different. Anyway a couple of the reviews mentioned great fitment on g42 even though the description didn't mention the 240 at all. I can return if they are junk but if the reviews are accurate for 160 I'll be pretty happy. I'll let you know how they look once they come in next week. If they are bad ill probably pay the 1200 for oem from that site I linked in previous post.

I am not sure which vendor you got it from, but mine fits perfectly. Not even a mm off from the original fitment

My cf caps came in today the cf looked fine but they didn't fit right specifically the blade area was a tad to snug top to bottom to sit right. I could of dremelled it out a bit and got them to work but didn't. After putting the oem back on I'll just snag some oem caps much easier and on the mirror any imperfections will be bothersome as you see it everyday.
