E92 N55 xDrive Dyno Results=Boost issue
Hi all,
I have an E92 xdrive N55. Mods: Bigger oil cooler, Wagner EVO-1 intercooler, Wagner catless DP (I have two secondary cats), charge pipe, stock exhaust with "PE mod". The car itself drives just fine. I have MHD stage 2+ and xhp stage 3. I have also xdelete in sport mode. Yesterday I went to a dyno and measured about 309hp stock and 327hp on stage 2+ which looks very bad as it should be 360/370hp. The car loses the boost after 4k rpm and the difference is up to 4/5 psi. I was changing all of the air-pipes o-rings some time ago and I do not hear any weird noises. Can you please help me where should I look for a reason step by step? The car drives so I would like to approach this sensibly in order not to unnecessarily throw away money on replacing good parts. I am attaching: 1. Dyno results. Stock, MHD, Stock/MHD 2. Log from a dyno on 5th gear: https://datazap.me/u/zawislak/mhd-st...og=0&data=4-20 3. Logs from the road 3rd gear DTC off on mhd stage 2+ with both versions of maps (1.8X and 1.6X) https://datazap.me/u/zawislak/stg2-1...og=0&data=4-20 Thanks |

in deed a boost leak wgdc trying to get the boost back, but dont hit 100%.
Also no timing correction and fuel pressure is in the good range. the timing is at 6.5 and constant, so the ignition seems in good shape. It's not uncommon to have boost leak or a pneumatic wastegate issue on the n55. I would check boost leak and vacuum leak at first. you can have those DIY kit with a tire valve and compressor and got with soapy woata to find the leak. A smoke machine can be more expensive. Mine was leaking on the charge pipe intake o-ring. Didnt had to search for long, my water/methanol blend is red, and the throttle body was red Same o-ring a the oil filter, was a easy fix. |

Hi oVeRdOsE. ,
I have some news. Shortly I have contacted MHD again and they told me to install beta 2.0 maps from the F+G app. They told me that soon N55e app will be off and MHD+ features will be in new app. I did it and I felt power in the car for sure. I started to see "DSC" while accelrating even with xdrive.. and I took the logs: https://datazap.me/u/zawislak/mhd-v20?log=0&data=4-20 I am not an expert but to mee these looks just fine isn't it. Is there anything wrong on this log ? It is stage 2+ again. If I understand everything corecttly, I don't have any boost leaks (at least big ones ) and my turbo is quite healthy (maybe not as new of course). Please tell me if I am wrong but to me it looks like the problem was not the car but the map. |

It's all kind of unclear and unofficial, but that's all I could find. |

I've posted about the MHD F+G app and v2.0 maps within in the N55 forum.
I'm running a stage 1 map which is fine so far. https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2133179 |
