Hi,

I am looking to buy a G87 M2 in the UK. I am getting confused. The Driving Assistant £1100 option is on a car I am looking at but it does NOT have Adaptive Cruise Control.......I've also read that it's standard on cars with Driving Assistant....

Can anyone clarify

The Driving Assistant package on a manuul transmission car doesn't have it (as Adaptive Cruise Control is not available at all if it is not an automatic).

In the US it was a $500 extra charge on auto-equipped cars.

Thanks for the responses. It's an automatic but not all automatics come with it. weird?

I’ve ordered automatic in the UK, (should be here in July), with Driving Assistant and ACC comes with that pack.

Thanks, but when looking many cars had Driving Assistant on the spec sheet but not ACC, I had to hunt for one with the ACC function (Buying new, so looking at available UK new stock). I can't understand why BMW just don't do as standard like VW....even the Polos have it

I'd rather they didn't put all the unwanted systems on, makes the best of both worlds then, those that don't want it don't add it as an option, those that do can add it. To me it is an advantage that BMW allows a reasonable amount of customisation compared with other cars. Wouldn't make any sense to allow customers to make factory orders without the customisation.
