I did stealth PPF, wrapped the roof in black gloss as well as the rear lip. Added the side badges and the rear black one. I’m waiting for the 50th anniversary roundels in carbon for the center cap on the wheels and the hood and trunk. Also 5% solar ceramic tint.

I like the wheels. Suspension, not now. Lips? Only in ABS plastic lol. They are too expensive for carbon and I line in NY. I will destroy the lip. Happened to me on my C7 Z06. Destroyed lip. Might be trading in anyway when they release z4 m40i in manual…..if

Looks great! Is this alpine white or mineral white? I’ve really considered doing the same with my alpine white. Just can’t make the leap over the fence yet to pull the trigger. Afraid I’d miss the gloss. 🤔

Normally I'm not a fan of white. And even less on this car. But I'm sitting at the dealership waiting for my M4 to be serviced and they have a white one in the showroom. And man I have to say the G87 actually looks fantastic in white. Great choice to go with the stealth PPF as well!

So this happened on its 1 month anniversary 12/30. Parked outside right in front of my window. I was in my office on the computer and i heard "boom". I knew it without looking. Bike ran red light and guy coming down the block perpendicular to the bike went thru green light and hit the bike and bike and passenger slid into my car. Cops didnt think bike had insurance at first but found out yesterday he did. Made claim yesterday as well. Adjuster should be calling me tom. Luckily he has Progressive THANK GOD. Dont have to go thru my insurance at all and risk my premium going up. Its bad enuf Im paying 4100 every 6 months. I know its high but it was the cheapest I found. Geico. I had a lapse on previous vehicle cause I cancelled insurance before turning plates in. So I screwed myself. But after the 6 months the premium should go down. Will have to write a new policy but it should def go down to at least 3k for 6 months. Progressive doesnt insure BMW at all currently. I was given numbers from other companies over 10k.

Damage: Bumper cover, center bumper, scratches on the side in the PPF where the rider slid against the side of the car.

Gunna have to get whole front PPF again and the drivers side fender and door. No damage to the panel thanks to the PPF. There would have been scratches in the paint. Also put those roundels on the other day. They are CF 50th that go over the stock ones. The centercaps are replaced with a blank cap and the roundel on top of it. AliExpress was $140 for Front, rear, center caps, and steering wheel

NO ITS NOT TOTALED LOL. No you cant have my wheels.

Sucks, I wish you much luck. Progressive is not great on paying claims 100% (they used to be but have slipped over time). Also hope they have decent property damage limit. If fault is on the other motorist, your carrier has to repair without affecting your rates (at least thats how it is in Florida).

My MY23 M240 was rear ended at a red light. Driver 100% at fault. Driver at fault had Safeco/Liberty, only covered ~$10k of $13.5k (I had to come out of pocket $3.5k). I subsequently flipped claim to my carrier to be made whole (and I am fighting with my own carrier to complete). They are dragging their feet at the make yourself whole doctrine.

that REALLY sucks. tough couple of weeks for cars on the forum... maybe i should stop posting here lol. i will note that progressive absolutely does cover BMWs as they insure my M2 right now, but i am looking to get off it as higher premiums combined with crappy service/coverage has finally pissed me off enough to go have my agent shop around.

Not in NY they dont. Also wouldnt insure my X5.
