M Logo on Rear Brakes

I saw a YouTuber showing a 2023 M2 with M logos on the rear brake. I wonder if that was deleted in 2024 models or am I missing mine?
If you are 2023 or 2024 owners do you mind letting me know if you have an M logo on your rear calipers. Thanks.

Yup it seems many members that didn't take delivery with them and had them added by their CA after had them fall off fairly soon after.

Could it be that the CAs didn't insert them properly?

Its not the CAs that are installing, and based on what I was told it is why the cars are being delivered without them (its known they dont stay in place).

I haven't kept up on this on the MY24s but are those being delivered with or without them?

I’ve had them on since October. I tried to take them off when I coated my calipers, and gave up after a few minutes.

My M2 doesn't have them & my wife's X3MC does. Her vehicle has 22k miles and they're solid. I purchased a set of red clips (mistake).

1. The red was way off from the red on the calipers even though it was a genuine BMW part.

2. They would not clip into place regardless of how I bent the clips. They would simply slide off.

I returned them for a credit & paid more in shipping from & back than they're worth. Lesson learned.

I was missing them as well. When I went in for my break in service they added them no questions asked.

Did you have to ask for it?

I think my car is a collector’s item. It has a “W” on the calipers.

Yep that W is for "written off". Definitely a collectors piece

I removed mine. They're non-functional while just adding weight (unsprung, no less!) and increasing rotational inertia.

I get to the office 0.0000001 seconds earlier every morning and I think the boss is starting to notice.

This is such a great post, but I must confess I felt bad for myself for being such a nerd… I thought to myself “wow, his calipers rotate, his braking efficiency is null!” :P

The boss starting to notice got to me though

Hahaha that funny. To be honest I wouldn’t have noticed if I wasn’t on this forum and even after I asked for it at my break in service it took me a week to even look to see if they were there.

But I guess they look good now….. but I get places slower
