M2 G87 - side mirror (driver’s side) not folding in as far as passenger’s side

Hi all,

I was wondering if any M2 G87 owners have noticed or could check the following please: the side mirror on my driver’s side is not folding in as far as the other side (about 2cm less), when I lock my car or when I push the button on the inside of the door.

Is there something wrong or is it my OCD playing up?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Bart

You're correct. I measured the difference at about 25mm.

Odd that?

was themed already... if the mirrors does not have different angles you would not see anything when they are unfolded .. or they damage the window sills when folded ( like Teslas do :-) )

Hey Bart!

Noticed the mirror thing? No worries, it happens. Might be worth a peek at the dealership, but if it's just a smidge, could be one of those quirky car things.

Contacted my dealership and they confirmed (with photos of a different model) it’s normal.

I never noticed it in my previous M2 (F87), that’s why I wondered if something was wrong.
