Is it the exhaust tips deterring you? In Canada they are separate.

Nothing is deterring me as I prefer the headlight with the chrome strip at the top as well as the chrome exhaust tips.

I also believe that both will complement well with the bi-color wheels.

Cool. I was merely curious. I would get the shadowline headlight but keep the chrome exhaust tips myself if I could. I prefer the look of the regular tips over the blacked out ones. The $ for the headlights in Canada is deterring me.

The improved DRLs and the auto high beams are worth every penny of the Lighting Package. Personally, I will never own another vehicle without auto high beams. It is a worthwhile feature for those of us that have difficulty seeing at night due to night blindness.

If the lighting package was available the same here, I would probably get it with the shadowline as long as I could keep the default exhaust tips. Alas, it is only possible with the ZPP which has nothing of interest for me. The technology is there for them to make the builds completely a la carte and yet, they package things.

I cope by trying to convince myself that the enhanced DRLs will be a fad.

Red or blue calipers? I'm going red.

for some reason they charge us $750 to paint the calipers red so im sticking with blue on my toronto red m2

feel like the red calipers would clash anyways

Since the red used for the calipers is a totally different shade of red than Toronto, I feel they clash and because of such I have selected blue. I do wish there was a black option like other M models.

Sadly, that is never the case, quite the opposite. The E39 LCI for MY 2001 was the first model to receive the DRL ‘Angel Eyes’ and everyone has wanted them since. Clearly the design has lost its way as of recent, but it is still a feature that is important to many BMW enthusiast.

So funny they chose a Rage Against the Machine song to play during the donut scene (the vid on IG). It fits this car. Love it.

hopefully somebody in Mexico makes a mistake and fills the paint sprayers for the M2 with Melbourne Red from the M240 instead of Toronto Red.

LOL dramatic much?

It's a G80 with a body kit built in a state of the art facility that's been building BMW's for years. It'll be just fine.

G42s have been rolling off the line there for over a year. Haven’t heard of many (any?) quality issues, and my firsthand experience with owning a G42 and test driving many others has been flawless. Seems largely on par with the G82s I’ve owned.

Lmao what a good excuse to tell people “I don’t want to buy the M2”
The facility alone is mainly robotic and hasn’t produced any quality issued G42 yet as far as I’m aware. And who cares if it’s in Mexico? Geez

I had German made 335 and it was a lemon. Replaced with the one from S. Africa and no issues. So I don’t think quality would be an issue with these. More of a stigma with an M product not coming out of Germany.
