Looking to pickup a set of ECS's ALZOR 030 wheels... they are 359M replicas from what I can tell...

Curious if I should go with the 18x8 et35 22.9lbs or the 18x9 et35 24.8lbs?

The price difference is only $15 with ECS's weird shipping even though they are $50 off in base price... LoL


Dont care about tire size as Ill run either 225/40 with the 18x8 or 235/40 with the 18x9

Suggestions?



According to the wheel forum calculator, in the front with the 18x9 i will have "14mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 12mm"
Will that fit OK?

If you are looking for a nice 359M style wheel check out the Avant Garde M359 wheel in 18x8.5 et35 and 18x9.5 et33. This is a perfect 3 series fitment. They come in either hyper silver or matte black and are low pressure cast wheels.

Good deal... Let us know how the quality is and how the fitment looks... If its too sunken in or is it flush?

cdaniel525 - I have a bunch of guys running the 18x8 ET35 squared on the E9X. Front fitment is beautiful. Rear fitment, I typically suggest spacers to push it out to match the look of the fronts, a 15mm spacer out back push them out very nice on the E9X, you can go a little bigger and still be safe.

rdeterman - They are not on back order per say. We're just waiting on a massive order of them to land. They should be here ready to start shipping early May.

As for the install shot. I haven't gotten around to putting the 18s on our 335i yet but here is what the 19s look like (staggered 19x8.5 ET35 19x9.5 ET40) to give you a little bit of an idea.

I mounted up the wheels this weekend when I went home, and I couldn't be happier!

They are 18x8 with 245/40/18 tires. I am running the stock suspension with no spacers. I am happy with the front fitment, but the rear wheels look a little sunken in. I can live with it for the time being until I can pick up spacers.

definitely does look good! My car is the same color as well, so gives me a great idea how it's going to look. The only thing I have additional is some tint...
let us know what size spacer you run in the rear and if you take some pictures?

Tint is probably next on my list, but I'm actually not running any spacers at all but I am considering them in the rear. I was surprised at how well they fit too, it almost looks like a factory option.

I'm considering a set of these for my 2009 LCI 335i, to replace my OEM sport pkg 287 wheels.

18" Style 030 Wheels - Staggered Set Of Four
18x8"/18x9" ET35 72.6CB 5x120. Hyper silver.
Mfg#: 030-1KT2 , $449.95

Sure can't beat a price like that and its doubtful the various curb rash damage on my OEM rims could be repaired for that little.

I have a almost new set of 18" tires in the factory sizes which I just bought this spring, otherwise I might've been considering something in 19" size. But for now I'm considering a stock-size straight replacement option.

For the above mentioned Alzor wheels, the front 18x8 ET 35 sounds close enough to be an almost exact fit.

But for the rear 18x9 ET35, would I need to do something?
The OEM 287 wheel is 18x8.5 ET39 (or ET37, depending on the source).

I forget how this works. The Alzor wheel is 12.7mm (0.5in) wider, but the offset is 4mm less (or 2mm, depending which number is correct. Does this mean the new wheel would stick out 8.7mm (or 6.7mm) from the fender? Or would it be tucked in by that amount?

The 030 in 18x8 ET35 is going to be 1mm less aggressive compared to your stock front wheels. (Sit 1mm further in than the factory wheels)

The 030 in 18x9 ET35 is going to be 10mm more aggressive compared to your stock rear wheels. (Sit 10mm further out than the factory wheels)

Fitment of this combo is a "safe" fitment on the E9X, no rubbing issues etc. Just a more aggressive than stock rear fitment (close to the fender but not sticking out).

IF you wanted a rather close to flush fitment a 10mm/12.5mm spacer combo or 12.5mm/15mm spacer combo would put you there. Which I'd go with depends on how "fat" the tires you're going to put on the wheels run.

Thanks James. From what you've said, it sounds like I'd be happy with the fitment as is. no spacers.

So assuming you didn't use spacers, do these wheels still require the use of a different set of lugs, or do the OEM ones still fit? (lug hole clearance, etc.)

And from what I've seen in other threads/posts the BMW roundels likely don't fit these wheels either do they? What is the quality/look of the sticker method in lieu of the proper roundels?

Stock wheel bolts are used with those wheels, same seat design and seat depth as the factory wheels.

BMWs 68mm center caps are a super tight fit, personally I've had some pop in fine and some break during install so I don't suggest them.

The 030s have slightly domed center caps, BMW part number 36131181080 is the right size to fit nicely over the Alzor cap. The look, if you take your time and line it up nicely is pretty close to that of a stock cap.

I run BBS CH 18 x 8.5 et 35 with 225/40 tires all around and a 15mm spacer on the rears of my e92 335is
No roll - no rub
Less understeer on entry + more oversteer on exit = more fun

I was wondering if spokes of the 18x8 or the 19x8 come out past the lip of the rim. From the pictures on ecstuning.com site, it appears as if the spoke curve out past the lip before going towards the lug nut area.

Can anyone with a set take a picture of the wheel straight down or level with the lip?

Or if ecstuning has different shots of the wheel.
