M Perf parts look fantastic on the car. That initial shot from the front 3/4 does the best job of showing off what the car truly looks like in real life. The stance and proportions are a significant improvement over the last generation.

Some of the M performance parts look great, others meh.

The spoiler is a MUST to clean up the rear. The side skirts combined with the front lip edge pieces are very sharp too. (Hoping you can just get the corner pieces and not the center portion as that would get scrapped too much imo). The CF grill & diffuser are way overpriced, but looks solid if you've got the $ to burn.

20" rims just look too big on this. The side decal is too ricey and looks rough with the silver part on purple. I'm on the fence about the hood decal, it's very unique and accentuates the bulge (that's what she said). Interior CF can all be purchased from China for 1/10th the price.

I wonder if the G-series MP wheel (part no. 32-30-2-448-757) will be available for this car, or maybe something new for the G42? Also, those MP seats in this video are excellent. All this thing's missing are DL, MDM, and M Drive buttons. Oh and quad exhaust.

Not true since the M2 will be RWD only. Will the M2 be more exciting? You bet but it will cost a lot more and lack the all weather traction of the M240i.

If you meant all the CF bling, yeah I’m with you there

The double side decal look is terrible.

No decals and I think the car looks the business especially for an m lite car.

If I needed awd, I'm not looking toward a tiny arse two door coupe.

And it's not about the CF. It's everything to do with the W I D E body and M team R&D to handle the rigors of hobbyist track duty.

Due to copious snowfall here in Tahoe, ALL of our vehicles have to be 4WD/AWD. So when we wanted a sporty small car the M240i was the natural choice. We already have 2 other larger vehicles that fit the typical SUV and truck use case. The M240i rounds out our stable nicely.

Yes and if you live in a wet area with 3-4 seasons which include leaf shedding etc. the AWD on a performance car make a lot of sense. There’s plenty of slick spots around but it’s unusual you hit them with all 4 tires at the same time, having Xdrive shifting power around make for more rapid and sure footed journeys in all but dry summer than the RWD only car.

The M2 will no doubt be the more exciting car, preferable by many including myself but I doubt the M2 will render the M240i irrelevant unless it does include an Xdrive version. The M240i is a stout and fun performer and by no means an over dressed pretender.
