No need to bring in the "we did it facts", I am 6 feet and did 3,5hr trip in the back of my F87 M2 no problem but had my head contacting the ceiling in the G42 series I had the pleasure of test driving...

Unfortunate, it does not look very good.
The spec sheet is pretty amazing.
Is the word numb incorrect?
Audi.

Boom. This car is an Audi. BMW is currently selling an Audi in its lineup.

BMW is doing simple math when calculating how much rear headroom is needed...

How many times do you need to transit 3+ people that are over 6ft? Less than 15% of the total US population is over 6ft and less than 1% of this is women.

So if you're on a double date, and it can fit some just under 6ft, there's a 99% chance both of the females will be able to easily fit in the back (as the average female height is like 5' 4" or so in the US).

I would say a 5' 9" clearance is plenty. That's 45% of US males and 95% of females. Assuming a 50/50 split, about 70% of adults can fit... and that's not even taking into account children that will be the primary occupants (or pets).

If you are taking out tall guest more often, get a M340i. The M240i is if those that need to pickup a friend for short distances in a pinch. My RSX-S back seat is much smaller and have almost never had 2 people back there and they've always been shorter females. I wouldn't dream of torturing two 6ft+ dudes, we would pick another transit option.

You should consider a minivan now. If that does not seem sporty enough get an M3 instead of the M4 and thank me later.

The reviews with 245/255 Michelin PS4S tires are all great, those with narrow snow/all season/runflat tires (like the Canadian influencers) point out some flaws.
It's a fairly easy equation to solve.

One of the best review so far! Mat normally finds holes in most cars but he could barely fault the M240i at all

Only thing I’m curious about is his 0-60 and quarter mile times appear identical to the M440i launch reviews from 18-month ago, but obviously the 4 weighs more than the 2. Is the extra MHT ‘eBoost’ power on the M440i meaning it’s performance can match the lighter M240i?

I don't think it's very defensible.

Throttle House is more technical. Thomas own an E46 and it's a dedicated track car. I take his technical analysis over Carwow and Straight Pipes. All of them are entertaining.
If Chris Harris drops a video I know I'm going to get a technical review and he is going to drive it. Chris Harris doesn't always point out the 0-60 and 1/4 mile though, because it doesn't matter to him.

What!?

There is absolutely nothing that resembles Audi here, in the contrary, this is a BMW resembling the old school BMW's that made the brand, with a RWD biased setup, a longitudinal 6 inline, near 50/50 weight distribution, and close to no torque steer.

Cars must be driven before judging them.
