Lifts you enjoy most
We all know squats, bench, deadlifts, pullups, etc are a staple in any serious gym rat's routine. What lifts do you personally just enjoy the most, regardless of usefulness, which exercises do you personally look forward to the most?
What are your top 5? 1.Dumbell shoulder press 2.Pullups 3.Deadlifts 4.Situps 5.Upright cable row |

I literally hate them all, and it's beyond me how anyone could like any of them. I work out regularly, but it's only for health and longevity. If I had to pick one I sort of like it'd just be dips. For some reason that one has always been "comfortable" for me.

Flies, Rows, Shoulder Presses (DB or BB), Ab Rollouts, and can't think of a fifth. Oooh.. just saw Dips above. I love those, too.
Hate: High rep DB Split Squats after Deadlifts. Barbell Hip Thrusts after Deadlifts. I wish I could say I loved legs, but they hit CNS so hard, especially Deadlifts. I'm not strong and struggle with gaining strength in legs. There is also a fear factor in going heavy on a Back Squat. Just freaks me out having heavy weight on the bar, even though I know I could simply just bail. Core strength is so important and used to be a limiting factor on both Deads and Back Squat, but right now I'm not even wearing a belt (again, this is lightweight stuff relative to others). I gotta say I can't understand a love for Goblet Squats. |

nerdogray try using the pad on the bar until you feel very confident and strong doing squats. The pad is great for allowing yourself to pause longer in between reps. Helped me get my squats #’s up a lot. Also - I’ve found that working calves routinely and making sure your shoes have flat and hard soles are often overlooked but critical components to leg day going smoother.
