Can confirm -- BMW of Hudson Valley in Poughkeepsie, NY got me an allocation 3 weeks after I inquired with them, so waitlist isn't that bad over there. Talk to Sam P, he's my CA and he's been great.

It was also hit or miss in NJ, I did manage to get one MSRP allocation there, but a lot wanted anywhere from 3-5k over. I still went with BMW of Hudson Valley, like my CA there better and they had lower dealer fees.

Well here we go. Production week got pushed back from 36 to 39 today. Called because I went from 112 status back down to 111. No carbon, no MP HAS

Checked with BMWNA today and the production is scheduled to be Week #35 (The week of Aug 27 to Sep 1, as I was told). That's actually quite unexpectedly soon.

I have the Carbon Package and a bunch of port installed MP options added.

Same thing happened to my order. CA reached out to let me know my order got pushed back and went back to 111.

My carbon pack build actually flipped to scheduled for production today. Was week 40 so looks like it may have moved up

My CA emailed me that I moved up to status 112 and scheduled production is week 35 or 36 with carbon package.

Same as mine, but it just moved up several stages this afternoon and is at entering the assembly line now.

This morning My Garage indicated "Scheduled for Production." I called a BMW Genius that confirmed my Build Week is Week 35 (End of August or Early September). I checked My Garage this afternoon and now the status is "Order Received." Did I just get delayed? Should I call back the Genius to confirm or reach directly out to my dealer?

Edit: Some others followed up in another thread and it seems My Garage and the Genius are unreliable at best and I will coordinate with my CA for the best information available for my car.

Mine went from scheduled for production (week 34 8-21) to production begins, your BMW has entered the production queue today. So does that mean mine got moved up 2 weeks or is that just an updated status prior to the scheduled production week?

My build just went back to Order Received for the 5th time. No clue what is going on this time. I removed the carbon bucket seats hoping to get a car.

I'm happy to report that the rumor of non-production of the Carbon Package in August appears to be untrue. My (BSM w/ carbon pack) week 40 build also just got moved up to week 34.

Based on the fact that my week 40 just got moved to week 34, yes, it would appear that your order (and likely the whole lineup) got moved up. Fingers crossed that they keep this up.

I don't think the whole lineup got moved up. Mine got moved from 36 to week 40 with an allocation date of July 27. It appears that the carbon pack folks all moved up and the non-carbon/ non MP-HAS got moved back. This is purely speculative, but based on a few users' feedback here, that seems to be a possible hypothesis. Cheers to everyone that got moved up!
