Coolant Leak Dripping on Intercooler
So I saw some coolant leaking in my garage from my 2009 335I XDRIVE. I popped the hood and inspected with bright lights and could not see anything from the top, all the hoses looks dry, the overflow wasn't leaking, nothing from the coolant reservoir, I just see some coolant on the splash guard.
When I jacked the car up and took off the splash guard, I saw the intercool was dripping coolant on both sides, I inspected the hoses and still couldn't see anything (I didn't have time or space to remove intercooler to dive deeper). Is there a chance the RAD is cracked and leaking? does this happen over time? The car isn't over heating and I never got any dash lights, the coolant levels are still good but obviously in time I'll have to fill it back up. Just wondering if anyone else has had any similar leaks or is there is thread that already discussed this?? I'll be taking it to the shop next week so they could take a deeper look. |
