HELP St. Louis Area BMW Shop
Anyone tried out EcoTech (http://ecotechimportauto.com)? They seem reputable from some yelp reviews, but I'm not sure how their BMW work is. I am looking for a good performance shop for my e90 in the stl area, one that could do suspension, wheels/tires, and other things i can't do myself would be great! If i have to go to individual shops i wouldn't mind, but all recommendations will be considered, thank you!!

The only shop I have tried is BimmersRUs. They did an oil change and walnut blasting a few months after I bought my used car. Not the cheapest, but still cheaper than a dealer. I work near a shop called Bradley Motor Werke , but have not used themyet.

I haven't been to any of the shops in St. Louis, but from my research, Bradley motor werke is the most reasonably priced. I will be going there for my brake fluid flush soon.

Bradley Motor Werks
I tried to get Bradley Motor Werks some business, but it took the guy a full week just to answer the phone message I left. Makes me wonder how long it would take to get the job done.

Hmm good to know hector! Has anyone tried "Bimmers R us"? I called them and they replied right away, but I decided to take it to a dealer as I think my issue is the HPFP and I'm at 110k mi

Brian at CarDoc Automotive is excellent. His forte is VW diesels, but he knows other German cars very well and is very professional, a fine shop, clean, he would let you know if he couldn't do what you need. Pretty much centrally located.

It turned out my cars turbos were shot...yay. Just bought it too. But I took the car to Bimmers R Us and they were able to take it in that day. I couldn't have asked for better service

I know this is an old thread, but just wanted to update you guys after a couple months of having to get various maintenance things and repairs done.
I went to Bradley Motor Werke for some maintenance items like rear brake change. All the service was fine, then I went in for a serpentine belt tensioner replacement and he ended up charging me over $400 just in labor; I provided the parts. Long story short, its a hit or mis with bradley depending on who he has working in the back. Thanks to the recommendation of a local 135i driver I sold a shifter to, I've been going to Jon at https://www.facebook.com/Kineticmotorsllc/. He did my valve cover replacement and I can't speak enough praise for the work he does. |
