Grocery Shopping Storage

So everyone I thought I would share something that I ran across that works extremely well for my grocery shopping and storage in the trunk.

Home Depot $35 bux.

Fits perfectly in width and takes up about half the trunk.

Awesome! Gonna check this out, sick of having groceries fly all over my trunk in my current car.

Unfortunately (and very fortunately) there are some very fun roads on the way to the store

Drive Auto Car Trunk Organizer - Collapsible, Multi-Compartment Automotive SUV Car Organizer for Storage w/ Adjustable Straps - Truck & Car Accessories for Women and Men - Grey https://a.co/ieIioP7

I use this in my cars. Has cords/hooks to preventing it from sliding, also has side pockets for easy access to some terry clothes. It easily collapses if I need the extra trunk space

I had tried many different solutions and they all worked just fine but this is the simplest one and I thought I would provide and I typically go grocery shopping every two weeks and there's a lot that fills up the trunk where various solutions didn't accomplish all my purchases due to smaller sizes.

This has been perfect for me. You could squeeze two in. It's width is almost exactly the width of the trunk. Can easily fit 6 stuffed grocery bags in the compartments. I use one organizer and if everything doesn't fit, I slide it back a bit and put more bags between the organizer and the rear most edge of the trunk. Works perfect.

Nice, I'm definitely gonna check that one out.

This looks perfect for a range day, too!

Try this one. It is very convenient to fold it flat when not using it. In my old car it would fit under the cover with spare wheel when folded.

Yeah, I want something more simple than this. A huge tub in my trunk just to prevent groceries from sliding around? It seems a little excessive. I'd rather just put stuff on my passenger/rear floors, and on the passenger seat.

Lol, I actually don't but I have in the past. It doesn't trigger your OCD having a huge tub sitting in your trunk all time? If you strategically position your costco stuff in your trunk, it should prevent most sliding around (or just drive in comfort instead of sport+ on your way home!).

I most likely would only toss it in there at times I would need it and not have it as a "permanent" fixture. My golf clubs would end up back there more often than that container. The wifey does the Costco thing way more than I do, and she has an RX350. On second thought, maybe I should do the Costco thing from now on...she's got way too much space to put unnecessary shit in there. Ehhh, that'll just backfire and she'll go to HomeGoods instead.

There’s an OEM net that works fine. It’s on shop bmw USA. That’s what I use, the net holds a few grocery bags well and unlike a cargo box it packs down to nothing when you’re not using it

LOL!! True for many out there, but thankfully she's European and doesn't like all the pumpkin/peppermint stuff. Doesn't save me from the shopping for knick-knackery crap though...that's universal it seems.

Does the box fly around in the trunk when empty? Or did you figure a way to tie it down?

One thing I can't stand is the noise of things flying around my car when I'm whipping… "driving spiritedly"
